In this one night workshop, we will address fit issues in your sewing projects. Typically, once you've figured out the pattern alterations needed for your figure, you can apply them to future projects for a better fit! Students may either bring in a garment they have already made or a muslin mock up of something they are planning to make. Depending on the projects brought to class, we'll cover the ways to alter a pattern before you sew the final garment vs. altering the finished garment. We will discuss fit issues as a group, then students will work independently in class to complete their alterations.

Please bring to class:

- A garment you have already made that doesn't fit well
or
- a muslin (mock up) of a pattern you would like to make that has some fit issues
and
- the original pattern
- Optional: Tracing paper for tracing off a fresh copy of your altered pattern.
