Thanks for getting in touch about wholesale! Here’s some more info about Blueprints for Sewing wholesale:

Orders

You can place orders by sending me an email directly or by filling out a pattern order on the website.
I try to fulfill orders within 2-3 business days, as long as patterns are available.

Pricing

All patterns wholesale at $9 with a suggested retail price of $18. Minimum first order is 8 patterns.

Payments

I send purchase invoices through PayPal. If you have a preferred email address where you'd like to receive invoices, please let me know. Otherwise I'll send to the contact email supplied.
For the first order, patterns will ship once the invoice has been paid.

Shipping

For smaller orders, I ship USPS Priority since their flat rate box is usually quite affordable (under $11, varies based on location, ships in 2-3 days). For larger orders, I typically ship UPS Ground (price varies by weight and location, ships in 5-7 days). If you need a rush order, I am happy to give you a price quote.

International shipping is typically sent via UPS to Canada and USPS to Europe & Beyond. If you have a preferred shipping carrier, please let me know and we can make other arrangements.

If your store changes locations, please let me know so I can update my shipping information.

Samples and Store Copies

I am happy to provide complimentary PDFs of my patterns for the purpose of making shop samples. Just ask!

Digital Pattern Sales

I am happy to make an arrangement for wholesale digital patterns. Typically, retailers will pay 50% of the digital retail price for each PDF sold with payments made monthly or quarterly via PayPal. If digital patterns go on sale, I should still receive 50% of the original retail price.

Updates and Communication

I will occasionally send a newsletter to retailers to let them know about updates to products, pricing, promotions, etc. Since these can sometimes end up in the spam filter, be sure to set info@blueprintsforsewing.com as a trusted email address if you have the option.
You are always welcome to email me directly with questions, ideas, or issues!

Teaching and Other Projects

I love teaching! When not working on patterns, my day job is teaching sewing and fashion design. If you hold classes in your shop, I would love to come teach there and meet your community of sewists! If you're interested, get in touch and we can discuss class ideas, special collaborations, rates etc.

I have a serious appreciation for indie fabric shops and love collaborating on special products and workshops. For example, I created a zine of embroidery patterns for a workshop at Stitch Sew Shop, inspired by their locale of Alexandria, VA.

I look forward to working with you! Please be in touch with any questions.

Best,
Taylor
