Architecture of Alexandria was created in collaboration with Stitch Sew Shop in Alexandria, VA. I researched common architectural elements, ornaments, and archetypes to create this zine. Old Town Alexandria is home to a wide array of townhouses in federal and colonial styles, often featuring decorative stonework, iron anchors and railings, and gaslights.

The zine features a variety of embroidery small motifs and information about their history and function, as well as two larger patterns for house styles common to the area: the Spite House and the Flounder House.
