Quilted Wall Vases

I’m often on the look out for ways to re-purpose scraps in my studio. This project utilizes surplus scraps and recycled glass tubes to create one of a kind quilted wall hangings that function as vases. Each is unique, using techniques including improvisational patchwork, pre-drafted patterns, and applique.

They hang from coordinating cords, handmade on a crank-driven cord knitting machine from various repurposed and second hand yarns.
